GUELPH, CANADA, February 11, 2022 – CGL Manufacturing Inc. President and CEO Mike Ritchie of Guelph, Ontario, announced the launch of Arrow Machine and Fabrication Group, a new entity to consolidate strategic partnerships under one umbrella.
Arrow aims to acquire leading operator-run design, machining, and fabrication organizations to strengthen their positions in the marketplace by allowing their respective global customer bases access to more niche services.
“We launched Arrow to fill a need in our industry,” says Mr. Ritchie. “As we acquire more companies that offer complementary services to CGL, we’ll be able to expand our global footprint by offering more diverse part supply solutions to our global OEM customers.”
For more than 40 years, CGL has specialized in the CNC machining, fabrication, casting, painting, and assembly of powertrain and structural component parts. Supported by a team of over 250 craftspeople, CGL operates out of multiple facilities located in Canada and China.
“Arrow will help us create greater value for our customers,” says Mr. Ritchie. “We anticipate that Arrow’s level of customer service and menu of comprehensive niche solutions will be unparalleled in our industry. All of our companies will have access to one another’s customers, supplier partners, capabilities, and strategies that will help them achieve significant organic growth they otherwise wouldn’t.”
CGL, along with to-be acquired companies of complementary scale, capabilities, customer bases, and business values, will continue to operate under their own brands. By consolidating these partnerships, Arrow will be achieving its goal of making strategic connections between its customers and the solutions they need to drive innovation.
